Finding help shouldn't be complicated. United Way's 2-1-1 service is a free, confidential resource that connects you to a variety of services, including rent and utility assistance, food, health care, housing, senior support, family counseling, and more. Healthcare Help: Medicaid, Medicare, Marketplace
Navigating medical coverage can be overwhelming. Orrville Area United Way hosts Jillian Siedlecki, a trained Insurance Navigator from Charitable Healthcare Network & Viola Startzman Clinic, to assist you. Visit us on the third Thursday of each month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for free, unbiased guidance on finding affordable health insurance. Drop-ins are welcome, or you can make an appointment by calling the Viola Startzman Clinic at (330) 262-2500.
Hot Meals: Friendship Meals
Sometimes a hot meal makes all the difference. Friendship Meals provides a free hot meal on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Thursdays of each month at Christ United Church of Christ. Meals are available curbside starting at 5:15 PM, with no eligibility restrictions—just come as you are.

Free Tax Filing
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax preparation for households earning less than $60,000 annually, persons with disabilities, seniors, and those with limited English skills. IRS-certified volunteers are ready to assist you in filing your return.
Home Repair & Weatherization
The Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) helps qualifying households in Wayne County reduce energy costs. Services may include installing a new energy-efficient furnace, water heater, insulation, refrigerator, and safety repairs.
